We are happy to announce the appointment of Robert Tierney as national Games Development Officer. Rob, who has served on his Pittsburgh GAAclubs’ board since 2002 and the NACB Midwest Division GAA board since 2014, will be responsible for managing games development administrators located in the Western (San Fran), Central, Northeast and Philadelphia divisions as well as working with the development committees from all divisions and various tutors across the county.
“It’s an exciting time - our sports are flourishing and their continued development is very important. We need to increase our playing numbers, enhance the abilities of our players, coaches, referees, volunteers & administrators and expose as many people as possible to the excitement, fun and skill provided by Gaelic games. I’m hoping to ensure, along with all the development team, that we continue to nurture and grow our sports.”, he said.
